VW T5 Danbury Surf Campervan

Description

The ever popular Danbury Surf is a medium size campervan based on VW’s T5 Transporter short wheelbase model with a low raising roof, also known as a pop-top.

The cab area has a double seat that rotates into the habitation area to provide additional seating should it be required, power assisted steering, electric windows and door mirrors.

Running down the offside is the kitchen and storage area and there is a three-quarter width seat that effortlessly converts into a double bed with just one pull.

The kitchen area includes a sink, a double burner gas cooker and grill as well as a 50ltr Waeco 12V compression fridge with freezer box.

Situated behind the rear barn doors easily accessible is the stainless-steel gas bottle compartment, the 12V fuse panel, the 240V RCD unit and the battery charger as well as access to the under seat/folding bed storage area.  Above all of this is a unique compact wardrobe with hanging rail that is accessible from within the habitation area next to the seat/folding bed.

Externally there is the addition of chrome side rails that incorporate footplates, a stainless-steel twin tailpipe, Dolphin rear parking sensors, a padded bonnet cover to protect the bonnet from stone chips, both the drivers and the passengers windows have wind deflectors fitted and the is a 36ltr underslung fresh water tank.

The Danbury Surf is as equally at home doing the weekly shop as it is exploring the countryside on short weekend breaks, going to festivals or even just out for day trips.
